Two years of photographic workshops draws to an end with an exciting exhibition

Saturday 29th June sees the launch of an exhibition in the stunning library of the Wisbech & Fenland Museum by the participants of the Wisbech High Street Projects Photography Workshops delivered by Matt Emmett of Forgotten Heritage. Over the last 2 years a group of 12 keen photographers from the Wisbech area have been documenting the towns heritage and this exhibition celebrates some of the towns hidden gems as well as the better known architectural landmarks, all captured in wonderful images. Come along and take a look between 10am and 4pm each day during Rose Fair week (29th June- 6th July). The workshops and exhibition have all been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the projects Activity Plan.

As well as the photography exhibition we will have a cabinet displaying some of the finds from the “Big Dig” we ran with Archaeological Project Services last summer.
