This week there have been high tides of over 7m deep on the River Nene which allow general cargo ships to reach the Port of Wisbech. I took a look on the Marine Traffic website yesterday morning and saw that two Russian flagged timber ships had arrived: SANDAL (IMO : 9083201) & SEG (IMO: 9066045)
Now that I’m involved with the Wisbech Photography Project I’ve taken a very keen interest into the work of the late great Geoff Hastings, so for this gallery of photographs I decided to eschew colour photography and just convert shots to monochrome with minimal processing. I shot these photographs at ISO 100 f10 & 1/100 to 1/250secs with a 12.5-62.5mm lens.
