Understanding Historic Buildings and Interiors - A series of Talks and Workshops
Offering a series of talks and workshops to help understand and learn more about buildings and their design
There will be a series of talks and workshops to help residents learn more about the history of historic buildings and in particular about their interiors.
Specialists and experts will be invited to talk on variety of subjects which we hope will include wallpaper, paint, textiles, furniture and period fixtures and fittings etc.
If there is a particular subject you would like to learn more about, please do get in touch and it will be considered for a future talk.

Sat 13th July 2019 – “Block and Roll: Wallpaper Manufacture and Use in the 18th and 19th Centuries”
Saturday 7th September 2019 –“Colour & Paint in the Smaller 18th Century Town House” and “The Paint Detective”
Saturday 30th November 2019 on “Decorative Tiles in Georgian and Victorian Domestic Architecture”
